Mission Statement:
The association committed to championing women to impact the direction of the construction industry. NAWIC provides education, community and advocacy for women.
Our monthly meetings and other advertised events are open to anyone in the industry. Our current member organizations represent various sectors of the construction industry making our organization the right fit for any woman seeking to advance her career.
Becoming a member provides multiple networking opportunities, including learning important leadership skills offered through our chapter training sessions and those provided at the regional / national level. Each member also has access to all 5000+ members nation wide. No matter where she travels, if Roanoke is her home base, she can be actively involved locally and attend any chapter meeting/event happening during her travels.

NFSF Scholarship Applications are due February 28, 2025!
Each year the NAWIC Founder’s Scholarship Fund is pleased to award over $100,000 to worthy recipients in construction-related programs. Our Chapter is so grateful to be able to contribute to this Foundation. Scholarships are available for undergraduate students and those enrolled in trade schools. Scholarships range from $1,000-$7,500. Click below for more information.
